
For years I’ve been reaching for the olive oil for just about everything -cooking, vinaigrettes, finishing drizzles, but now that I have visited this store and tasted this butter, I might have to reconsider butter. The butter from La Maison du Beurre, in St Malo France is considered by chefs, food critics and connoisseurs, as one of the best – if not the best- butters in the world. Renowned for its traditional, slow, hand-churned production in Brittany using high-quality French cream, it is cherished for its rich texture, complex, nutty flavor and artisan quality.
