Every now and then, it’s nice to give Mom a break for the day. Well, I’ve got some easy but elegant recipes with step by step directions that even novices, like Dad’s and kids, can master.
Kid’s will love my glazed meatloaf burgers and oven fries. My friend and fellow Mom, Adrienne is going to join me for Mom’s night off.
Then the perfect brunch recipe to thank Mom for all she does – a cheese sandwich souffle, courtesy of my grandmother Ruth Moulton, followed by strawberries, stuffed cannoli style with sweet cream cheese, chocolate and candied orange peel. I’m inviting my neigbors, the Brown/Silberbergs over to make this for their Mom. Then we will surprise and toast her with a mimosa for the adults and a kid friendly bubbly drink based on my brother Peter’s secret recipe.
