We visited the fascinating market in Denia, Spain, which was designated a Creative City by UNESCO. Denia a fishing village on the coast of the Mediterranean just south of Valencia and a place renowned for its paella because of the abundant local seafood and the special rice grown nearby. Its seaside location also means there are plenty of sun seekers on the many local beaches.
Denia Municipal Market is located on Magallanes Street
It’s open 6.30 a.m. to 2 p.m., from Monday to Saturday.
