Ever since I spent ten days on the Isle of Skye in Scotland when I was 21, I have had a thing for sheep (they are everywhere in the Hebrides). So, I was delighted to be surrounded by them in an ancient olive grove, on the Spanish island of Mallorca in May https://sonmo.es/en/pages/us. The sheep are part of the ecosystem of the grove, trimming the weeds and fertilizing the ground with their poop. One thing I didn’t know about them – they are very shy.
