I had the tastiest meal at my cousins’ newest restaurant, Salt Pine Social, at 244 Front Street in Bath, Maine. Those are my cousins, Daphne Comaskey and Eloise Humphrey. They were already famous in Maine for their previous wonderful Mexican restaurant in Brunswick called El Camino (GQ awarded them best margarita in America) and now they have outdone themselves with this new place. We sampled many things from the menu (almost all sourced from local farmers) – some of my favorites were smoked bluefish pate, tempura fried avocado with smoked pepper remoulade and lebanese tomato salad. It was hard to figure out what to order, I wanted everything. The location is lovely too. If it is cool, sit on the deck.
