Time to start planning for the spring holidays. Passover starts at sundown on Monday, March 29. Both Western and Eastern Orthodox Easter fall on Sunday, April 4th this year.

Although strawberries and asparagus are in the market all year these days, this is traditionally the time to start looking for them as a sign of spring. Rhubarb is still a more seasonal visitor to the produce section and the first has just arrived in the market in the Northeast.
